Is Nose Surgery For You?

The reasons why anybody would want to go through a nose surgery differ from one person to another. People that snore or have breathing difficulties are often the most concerned about nose surgery. Others are uncomfortable with the appearance of their nose because of its asymmetry or because of its above average or below average size. In fact, nose surgery has become more common among people of different ethnicities. Nose surgery is performed on both women and men as early as 14 years of age when the nose is fully developed. Indications that usually initiate nose surgery include but are not limited to:

· Permanent bumps on the nose starting as early as birth or childhood.
· Depressions on the nose caused by injuries or present since birth.
· Nostrils too wide and open which could be a discomfort for the appearance.
· When the nasal tip is excessively pointed or excessively flat.
· The tip of the nose is too thick and large or too slow.
· The nose is crooked to the side.
· When the nose looks larger viewed from different angles.
· The nose is symmetric but not in the center of the face which makes the whole face asymmetric.
· When the nose does not simply look normal to the patient
